Customer questions
What do your clients love most about your performances?
I've had some wonderful clients tell me that they've loved how seamlessly I switch between different genres, making the performance more varied and engaging! I think this sets me apart from other singers, and I love variety so I'm always happy to mix things up.
Which venues have you performed at in the past?
I've been very lucky to have had extensive experience performing internationally on luxury cruiseliners, as well as on UK turf in the West End (Leicester Square Theatre, Zedel/Crazy Coqs and Pheonix Arts Club), on BBC1 and ITV, at Windsor Castle, in Trafalgar Square to an audience of 20,000 at West End Live and at various regional theatres across the UK.
What is the most high profile gig you've performed?
Probably for Prince Edward at Windsor Castle! I performed with my group, Ida Girls, and after our performance we met His Royal Highness, which was nerve-racking! But it was such an honour to perform in such a prestigious and historical venue.
What if my timings change after I've booked you?
I try to be as flexible as possible to ensure your event runs as smoothly as possible. If timings change in the lead up to your event then just let me know - 99% of the time it'll be no problem at all!
How much time do you need to set up?
When using my own fantastic Bose PA system and Shure microphone, I can set up in as little as 10 minutes, though allow 15-30 minutes if in a venue I've not worked in before, to make sure the setup and sound are as good as they can be for your event.
Can I pick the pieces you play from the set list?
For performances where only 1 or a handful of songs are required, you are absolutely welcome to pick from my set list, or we can discuss new songs you'd like me to learn for your event as an add-on. For longer sets I can adapt the programme to suit your music taste and include up to 3 song requests from my repertoire or, again, any new songs as an add-on.
Do you bring all the equipment you need to perform?
Yes! I can provide my own microphone, mic stand and PA system, along with backing tracks. However if you'd like me to perform with another musician you've arranged then we can equally discuss that - whatever best suits your event.
Can you learn specific pieces before the event?
Yes! If there is a special song you'd like me to learn I'm absolutely happy to do this for you. There is a fee of £30 per song for this to take into account the time it takes to learn and the backing track to go with it.
