The Von Hit Wonder Bunde formed last year to play at a friend's party, and we've been really busy ever since. Formed from professional musicians with many years of experience between us, we offer the full Oktoberfest experience with traditional Bavarian marches, polkas and waltzes to set your evening off in the right mood, followed by some bangers to get you dancing in party mood. We bring plenty of audience interaction, games and frolics to your event.

The Von Hit Wonder Bunde were hilarious and played a whole array of music. There was a lot of audience participation and great fun was had all round.

Sue Williams and her newly formed band The Von Hit Wonder Bund were booked last minute. We didn't know what to expect but they didn't fail to impress. The first set consisted of several traditional Bavarian songs and a few audience participation antics. The band were incredibly talented. The second set was fun packed with loads of sing-a-long stein bashing tunes. What an amazing evening and definitely ant them back next year.

Customer questions

Will the singer be the same as who I see in the videos?

You will see the same front person as in the videos but the band members may vary as they are booked on an on-demand basis according to their availability. If a 'dep' steps into the band, he/she will be of the standard required to fill the original members position. Our musicians are put through their paces and have to be technically able to do the job.

Do you have different line-up options?

We have a front man who encourages the audience participation. A keyboard, trumpet, trombone, clarinet, tuba and drums line-up will be the standard line-up.

What if my timings change after I've booked you?

We can be flexible within reason.

Can you provide an iPod/DJ service before and between your sets?

Very possibly although this is something I will need to confirm. If a DJ service is required after the following set until the venue/event ends, there will be a £100 additional cost.

How much time do you need to set up?

Approx 45 minutes will be required to set-up although we would usually be at venue a couple of hours ahead of the start time.

Can I pick the songs you play from the set list?

Yes, we are happy for audience members to make requests from the playlist.

Is all of the equipment (e.g. PA & lighting) included in your quote?

PA and microphones are included. Lighting is not included

Can you learn song requests before the event?

Yes we can accommodate song requests in advance. If it is only for two songs, this is included in the price. If it is beyond two, there will be a surplus charge of £25 per song due to the time it takes to arrange the music for our line-up.
