Which venues have you performed at in the past?
Derby Cathedral, Queen's Tennis Club, the National Portrait Gallery, Ripley Arts Centre, Draper's Hall London, Hinton Ampner National Trust, Tunbridge Wells International Music Festival, Lamberhurst Festival.
What is the most high profile gig you've performed?
As professional singers with various other ensembles, we've performed at the BBC Proms, the Royal Opera House, Opera North, the Wigmore Hall, Cadogan Hall, Glyndebourne and the Royal Festival Hall.
Do you have different line-up options?
Our line up is 4 singers a cappella or 4 singers with piano.
If there is no piano available at the venue, we have an option to include a portable keyboard & PA.
If more singers are required, we can increase our numbers on discussion.
What if my timings change after I've booked you?
We will always try our best to be flexible to help ensure your event runs as smoothly as possible. We understand if timings change slightly in the run up to the event so just let us know as soon as possible.
How much time do you need to set up?
This entirely depends on the nature of the event, the type of venue and the length of the set required.
For a wedding, we would set up 45 mins before the performance time, to allow for rehearsal in the space before the guests arrive.
For Christmas Carols, we only require 10-15 mins for a 20 min set, if performing a cappella.
Can you roam around while you perform?
We usually perform in one place, standing together and without amplification. But we can move around to different places in the venue, depending on the nature of the event - we don't have to be on a stage. For singing Christmas Carols for example, we've previously performed standing around a Christmas Tree, from a balcony and in a festive hallway.
Can I pick the songs you play from the set list?
All our set lists are created from our many years of performance experience and learning what works best for various events. However, we are very happy to discuss what songs you'd like to feature in your event and can compose special arrangements of songs on request.
Is all of the equipment (e.g. PA & lighting) included in your quote?
If performing as an a cappella vocal quartet, we require a minimum of 4m x 3m space to perform.
If performing as a vocal quartet with piano, we require the venue to have a Piano already in place and a minimum of 12m x 12m space to perform.
If the venue doesn't have a piano, we can bring a keyboard & PA with us. Transport costs are included in your quote.
Can you learn song requests before the event?
If a song isn't included in our song list, we can write a bespoke arrangement. There is a fee of £250 for this service to take into account the arrangement time and rehearsal time.
