Booked Vivid Jazz for our office winter party. Paul helped organise everything, and was extremely quick to reply to any messages/queries. On the day the band made sure everything was in place for when guests arrived, and were able to read the room well as to what music should be played. They were very professional, punctual and organised themselves well with little input from ourselves. The musicians were great and performed to a high standard! Would definitely recommend vivid jazz for any event if you want a high quality performance that is ran smoothly!

What a truly wonderful experience to have Vivid Jazz along at our event! We requested quite last minute as we were let down by another group, but Paul and the team were quick at responding and getting to understand our unique event. Bringing together nearly 300 elderly and vulnerable people on Christmas Day was a huge undertaking and without Vivid Jazz I'm not sure if we would have managed to capture the same joyful, festive spirit of the day. We've had nothing but wonderful feedback from all our guests and we hope to see them again in the future. If you're on the fence about hiring them, please don't hesitate. They're simply a joy to work with.

Customer questions

Will the singer be the same as who I see in the videos?

We strive to make sure the line-up you see is what you get on the night. We do have pre-audititioned 'dep' musicians available in case a band member falls ill or is unavailable. As a professional band our reputation means everything so you can be confident that all of our players are of a very high level.

Do you have different line-up options?

We offer a 2 piece sax guitar duo, a vocal trio, all the way up to a full 7 piece band complete with brass section.

What if my timings change after I've booked you?

We always try our best to be flexible to help ensure your event runs as smoothly as possible. If timings change slightly in the run up to the event just let us know.

Can you provide an iPod/DJ service before and between your sets?

We will always provide background music from our extensive range of laptop playlists, available for you to pre select ahead of your event date.

How much time do you need to set up?

Once we have carried the equipment into the event space, it will take us no more than 1 hour to set up for line ups ranging from 3 to 7 piece. The saxophone / guitar duo can be set up and ready to go within 15 minutes.

Can I pick the songs you play from the set list?

You are welcome to hand pick your set list from our extensive repertoire.

Is all of the equipment (e.g. PA & lighting) included in your quote?

All PA & Lighting is included in our prices. We can also connect to a venue system.

Can you learn song requests before the event?

We can learn any number of songs for your event. The cost for this is £50 per song.

What do your clients love most about your performances?

We have a huge repertoire to choose from which means that we can satisfy audiences from all backgrounds.

Which venues have you performed at in the past?

We have performed at the London Marriott, County Hall, St Pancras Renaissance, London. Lake Como in Italy & The Savoy, London. These are just a few of the venues that we have performed at this year.

Which artists have you been most influenced by?

We are inspired by Post Modern Jukebox most of all.

What is the most high profile gig you've performed?

We performed on the banks of Lake Como for a very high profile wedding ceremony in the most fabulous weather and with the most fabulous views.
