We are Vintage Vie - a high quality vocal duo singing solo and duet numbers. We play an extensive repertoire of music from the 20’s through to the 50’s swing and rock n roll era. We are dancers as well and will teach the dance moves to have the audience engaged right from the off. We also perform with full big bands and swing bands as well and can discuss those options - we present in a range of attire from the 20’s style through to 40’s and 50’s. We have entertained at numerous events starting with Vintage Vie and then our full band afterwards. you won’t be disappointed.

Hi Kal - Really good to meet you and Laura and the rest of the band on Saturday and thank you for your kind words about the hotel and the event. What a fantastic evening, we have had many good comments back and the whole event was a great success. You guys were absolutely superb and I’d like to congratulate you on your professionalism throughout. The music was brilliant and the whole setup was first class. Would definitely be interested in discussing future events and will have to get some plans together for next year. Possibly a summer garden party in a marquee on the lawns would be something we’d be keen to look at. What might you suggest in terms of theme and music style? Probably be looking at a Saturday in June/July. Also for future reference what do you charge for the band for a New Year’s Eve performance? Would be great to get any photos or video from the event that you may have too that we could put on social media and other marketing for similar events for the future. Look forward to hearing from you and once again thank you and the rest of the band for such a fantastic night of entertainment. Kind regards Simon

This set up of Laura and Kal as Vintage Vie and the band is fabulous x they will take you right back x with their authentic sounds of the past. Do you have different line-up options?

yes - we have Vintage Vie as our vocal duo singing 20’s to 40’s to 50’s but we can also offer a solo sax player as well as a range of band line ups for Glenn Miller, Soul and Motown, Peak Blinders, Great Gatsby and 50’s jive swing

What if my timings change after I've booked you?

We are happy to discuss and understand that these things happen. Never been a problem so far. Happy to work with you to ensure it is right.

Can you provide an iPod/DJ service before and between your sets?

“Absolutely. This is a really popular request and we actually offer this service for free. If you'd like a DJ service via our PA after the final set until the venue closes, we provide this for an additional £100.”

How much time do you need to set up?

“We usually set up about 1 to 1.5 hours before the performance time. As soon as our PA is set up we can provide a free playlist service to help set the atmosphere and get your guests ready for our live performance!”

Can you roam around while you perform?

“Yes - we either perform acoustically or with microphones so we can move around freely.”

Can I pick the songs you play from the set list?

Our set lists are crafted from countless performances and learning what works best to ensure guests dance and have an amazing time. However, we're definitely happy to chat through and make sure we find what works for your event. ”

Is all of the equipment (e.g. PA & lighting) included in your quote?

“Our PA and lighting system is included in your quote. We usually require a minimum of 3 by 2m space to perform”

Can you learn song requests before the event?

If a song isn't included in our song list there may still be a chance we already know it. If there is a special song you'd like us to learn we are happy to do this for you. There is a fee of £30 for this service to take into account rehearsal times etc. ”

What do your clients love most about your performances?

They really enjoy our stage presence and the fact that we really enjoy what we do and interact with the audience and also teach them all the dance moves to get them involved

Which venues have you performed at in the past?

We have performed at numerous venues across the UK and Europe from small private functions to large corporate events including at the London Excel venue and also various large festivals including RetroFestival, Peaky Blinders events, 40’s wartime events and 50’s swing events

Which artists have you been most influenced by?

a range from Great Gatsby to Peaky Blinders and Irving Berlin to Glenn Miller and Frank Sinatra, Ella Fitzgerald, Ruth Brown, Nina Simone

What is the most high profile gig you've performed?

Probably at the Carfest for Chris Evans BBC radio 2 with 25,000 attendees
