Based in Worcestershire, the duo is made up of cellist Rebecca Rose & guitarist / vocalist Colin Stevenson. Rebecca is an internationally renowned and award winning cellist. After being awarded scholarships to the venerable Purcell School and Royal College of Music, she has since performed across the world and at revered UK-based venues including Birmingham Symphony Hall and Buxton Opera House. She also has the royal seal of approval having performed solo for then-Prince, now King Charles! Colin is a accomplished singer, songwriter and guitarist with over 30 years of live performance experience. A professional and versatile artist, and engaging performer, he feels equally at home in intimate ceremonies, lively wedding receptions and on festival main stages. With a diverse repertoire spanning classical, film music and modern rock & pop, Vintage Strings offer an exceptional & unforgettable musical experience that can be tailored to any setting. Unbelievable!! We had Vintage Strings come to play for our wedding ceremony and during our drinks reception. Communication was amazing and they even learned new songs for us to have exactly what we wanted for the entrance music, and nothing was too much trouble. They sounded absolutely beautiful and we had nothing but compliments, we are hoping to have them again in the future for other events! Thank you again 🩷

Vintage Strings came and performed at our wedding at Matara and they made the day even more special. Firstly they were very flexible. The weather on the day was great so a lot of our guests were set up outside into the evening. The duo offered to perform the first set as an acoustic set outside which was really nice and different. Then into the evening they moved inside and performed more upbeat music to dance to. They were receptive to requests and even did an encore. They were very engaging even with our small wedding! Thanks again for everything, honestly great entertainers
