Vicky studied Flute Performing of Master Degree with Karen Jones and Clare Southworth, and Piccolo with Pat Morris at the Royal Academy of Music in London. Her early successes include winning the Taipei Flute Competition in 2008 and performing with Kuang-Jen Symphony Orchestra and YMCA Symphony Orchestra in Taipei National Concert Hall as Principal Flute.
Whilst studying in London, Vicky was appointed as Principal Flute and Principal Piccolo of the Royal Academy Symphony Orchestra and performed in Duke’s Hall and King’s Place under Sir Colin Davis, Sir Mark Elder, Sir Heinz Holliger, Christopher Austin and Musical Theatre Conducted with Stuart Morley and musical director Jennifer Whyte.
Moreover, Vicky performed Contemporary music in the Dancing Festival in January 2013. Vicky is also regularly Performed in the music public events. She has been invited to performed in the Chinese New Year by Chinese Students and Scholars Association(CSSA) has been interviewed by ‘The Chinese weekly’ newspaper and printed on newspapers.
Vicky was also a member of the Royal Academy Wind Ensemble and performed chamber music regularly. She was in great demand as guest flutist with the Taiwan Ministry of Foreign Affairs in London, and had performed in its National Gala.
Vicky is Currently a Principal Flute of London Graduate Orchestra. Vicky recently held recitals for St. Johns wood hospital, Solo Recitals in Buckingham, Royal Academy of Music, St James Piccadilly and St John's Smith Square, London, UK.
Vicky currently awarded very highly commended in Jonathan Myall Piccolo Prize in March 2013, London, UK.
