About Vaiva

A professional violinist available for weddings and various events
Violinist
London
Public liability insurance of £10 million

I began developing my professional career in music from an early age, studying at the Gymnasium of Music in Kaunas, Lithuania. I later continued my academic training at the Lithuanian Academy of Music and Theatre in Vilnius, where I further refined my technical and artistic skills. During my Bachelor’s studies, I actively participated in numerous masterclasses focused on both solo and chamber music performance. These sessions were led by distinguished professors and internationally recognised musicians, including Johannes Meissl (Vienna), Piotr Tarcholik (Kraków), Augustinas Vasiliauskas (Vilnius), and Petras Kunca (Vilnius). These experiences significantly contributed to my musical development and broadened my interpretative perspective. Following my graduation, I performed as a violinist with the Music Theatre Orchestra in Panevėžys, gaining valuable professional orchestral experience. For the past eleven years, I have been based in London, where I have had the opportunity to collaborate with a variety of orchestras and ensembles. My performance experience includes working with the London Film Music Orchestra, the Mozart Symphony Orchestra, the London City Philharmonic Orchestra, and Symphonic Ibiza. In addition to orchestral work, I regularly perform at weddings, private events, and a range of collaborative artistic projects. These engagements allow me to explore diverse musical styles while connecting with audiences in both formal and intimate settings.

Vaiva delivered a beautiful performance at the gallery event - the opening night of Unmanifested. Her violin melodies enriched the atmosphere and left a lasting impression. I would highly recommend her for any event.
