Urte is a professional pianist graduated from the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland. Having started attending music school at the age of 4, Urte participated in her first international piano competition aged 7. Since then both solo and chamber music performances have been a significant part of her life. Urte has performed in a number of countries including Lithuania, France, Czech Republic, Italy, Germany, Poland, United Kingdom and India, and became a prize winner of over 20 international piano competitions. As a soloist she has been an active participant of a number of masterclasses with Eugen Indjic, Peter Donohoe, Vladimir Tropp, Dmitri Alexeev, Joseph Banowetz, Alicja Fiderkiewitz, Noriko Ogawa, to name but a few. Her chamber music experience includes being a member of various instrumental ensembles (duos, trios and quartets) and accompanying solo vocalists as well as larger ensembles and choirs. Experience in other keyboard instruments includes playing organ and celesta.

Our day did not go as planned due to weather conditions and hotel communications however Urte seemed to take it in her stride. Her performance was immaculate I just wish I could have heard more. Apologies for the mix ups Urte.

How much time do you need to set up?

Set-up time is very minimal if I am performing on the acoustic piano at your venue. If I have to set-up my own equipment, 30 minutes is sufficient. However, to be on the safe side, I normally arrive 1 hour prior the start of the event.

If I have a piano at my venue, are you happy to perform on that?

Yes, of course , I am more than happy to perform on the acoustic piano at your chosen venue. It is essential that the piano is in working order and in tune, therefore I personally contact the venue prior to the event to discuss all the details. If the piano is not suitable for playing, I can provide my own digital keyboard.

Are you able to bring your own piano or keyboard?

Yes, absolutely.

Can you learn song requests before the event?

You are more than welcome to request the song you love and I will do my best to accommocate your ideas. Always happy to enrich my repertoire with music that is special for you!
