Urszula Krukowska-Byzdra (Ursula)is a multiple prize winner of cello competitions. She has performed all over Europe and taken part in numerous festivals. One of the cellist’s most notable concerts was before the King of Saudi Arabia. Ursula’s image continuously represents her alma mater, Academy of Music in Lodz, both in Poland and South Korea, as well as in other countries. The year 2013 marked the establishment of her own Cellotree Management and Academy. At the moment Ursula is a soloist and manager of the Joy of Strings orchestra from Seoul (South Korea). She plays the Nicolas Charotte cello from 1830.

Dear Urszula Thank you very much for a lovely performance of the Dvorak. It is a gorgeous cello concerto and I did so enjoy it. I thought you played it extremely well, very poetic especially in those bars towards the end of the last movement. So glad that Dvorak did not allow his cello mentor to put a cadenza here! They like my playing because my sound is very similar to the legendary cellist Jacqueline du Pre. People in audience who remember her have said I am the next J. du Pre. I have an amazing instrument. And my playing is very emotional.

We always try our best to be flexible to help ensure your event runs as smoothly as possible. If timings change slightly in the run up to the event just let us know.”

How much time do you need to set up?

We usually set up about 1 to 1.5 hours before the performance time. As soon as our PA is set up we can provide a free playlist service to help set the atmosphere and get your guests ready for our live performance!”

Can I pick the pieces you play from the set list?

Do you bring all the equipment you need to perform?

Yes, absolutely! I bring my own instrument to play acoustically.”

Can you learn specific pieces before the event?

“If a song isn't included in our song list there may still be a chance we already know it. If there is a special song you'd like us to learn we are happy to do this for you. There is a fee of £75for this service to take into account rehearsal times etc. ”
