Upbeat Street were absolutely fantastic! They brought incredible energy to the event and kept the room buzzing from start to finish. Their performance was seamless, engaging, and had everyone up and involved. A truly talented band who know exactly how to create the perfect atmosphere. Highly recommended!

Craig, Georgie and the rest of the band were amazing! We opted for the acoustic duo to play for 2 sets during our drinks reception and then 2 live band sets later on with the playlist option to take us to midnight. Craig was brilliant and super professional throughout the planning, ensuring to cover all elements so we didn’t need to worry about anything which helped a lot! During the acoustic set the guests moved outside as the weather was better than expected and Georgie and Craig were able to follow us as their equipment was wireless which made the whole thing really adaptable and hassle free. And most importantly they both sounded great and set a lovely ambiance. The live sets were some of the highlights of the day. The playlists flowed well, Georgie and Craig were interactive with the guests and together they really ensured everyone one was enjoying themselves and on the dance floor. We had lots of guests comment how good the band were! Really couldn’t recommend enough for your wedding - thanks again!

Upbeat Street were absolutely amazing at our wedding. The acoustic duo really added to the atmosphere earlier in the day, and then they filled the dance floor in the evening with a fantastic performance. Easy to work with before the event, and all of the timings and logistics went very smoothly. I'd highly recommend them!

We had Upbeat Street play for our wedding on the 26th June 2021 and we can honestly say it was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding. From the very start they were nothing but professional and kind; they also happily moved our date when we had to postpone due to Covid. They listened to our set requests (a heavy dose of soul/Motown with some more modern classics to end the evening) and learnt and sung our chosen first dance song which brought us to tears upon hearing it on our wedding day. Quite literally everyone we spoke to commented on how amazing the band were - they really got the party going and kept everyone on the dance floor all evening. We couldn't have wished for more and will forever be grateful for making it such a perfect day. Thank you so much. We couldn't recommend you more! Helen & Alex xx

‘Upbeat Street Band played at our wedding on 30 May 2021. We cannot recommend this band enough!! Justin was so helpful in the months leading up to the wedding, helping to organise the timings of the day and willing to cater to the ever changing covid restrictions. The acoustic duo played during the ceremony and drinks reception and the music was beautiful, the acoustic music made the ceremony feel very relaxed and personal as we got to choose the songs that were played. The full band played during the evening and they were AWESOME! Justin, Craig, Charlie and Carlo were interactive with our guests and everyone was up on the dance floor for the majority of the night! Our guests loved the mixture of music that was played and said they’d never heard anyone sing a Whitney Houston song live as well as Charlie did (she does have one amazing voice)! Thanks guys for giving us one big party and letting us appreciate live music again, even though we only had 30 guests, it certainly didn’t feel like it with Upbeat Street Band playing.’

Will the singer be the same as who I see in the videos?

“We strive to make sure the line-up you see is what you get on the night. We do have pre-auditioned 'dep' musicians available in case a band member falls ill or is unavailable (although this is a rarity). As a professional band our reputation means everything so you can be confident that all of our players are of a very high level.”

Do you have different line-up options?

We can provide both a 2 & 3 piece option where space is a bit cosy or if trying to keep the budget down, We also provide an acoustic duo option for those more intimate moments or more relaxed vibe, a popular choice for the ceremony, drinks reception, meal or before a main event.

What if my timings change after I've booked you?

“We always try our best to be flexible to help ensure your event runs as smoothly as possible. If timings change slightly in the run up to the event just let us know.” It’s often the case some things overrun on the day, we try to structure our timings to allow for this, if we have to start a little later or shorten our break it’s no problem!

Can you provide an iPod/DJ service before and between your sets?

"Yes this is a free service that we offer when booking the band, this can be provided shortly after we arrive and start setting up, during breaks and after the main performance if you would like us to provide this for longer as an add on service just ask.

How much time do you need to set up?

“We usually set up in 60-90 minutes before the performance, as soon as our PA & speakers are set up shortly after we can provide a free playlist service whilst we finish setting up the rest of our equipment, this helps set the atmosphere and get your guests ready for our live performance!”

Can I pick the songs you play from the set list?

Of course! We have a large and varied set list that caters for all, Our set lists are crafted from countless performances and learning what works best to ensure guests dance and have an amazing time. However, we're definitely happy to chat through and make sure we find what works for your event.

Is all of the equipment (e.g. PA & lighting) included in your quote?

"yes, we provide all high quality PA sound system including 2x subs to make sure the low end packs a punch! We have lots of moving and static band lighting to enhance the performance, our hi tec lighting set up synchronises all of our Lighting & covers the band & dance floor area in front of the band, enough to fill every wedding venue we have played at.

Can you learn song requests before the event?

“If a song isn't included in our song list there may still be a chance we already know it so its worth asking. If there is a special song you'd like us to learn we are happy to do this for you although may need to add a little extra cost in to cover rehearsal and any production costs, we would also need enough notice (especially during the busier periods).
