Tyler Nugent picked up an acoustic guitar for the first time at the age of 15. Now 20, Nugent developed a signature sound that is soulful and sweet all at once. His intensely personal lyrics and unusual guitar-style combined with his unique voice caught the attention of the producers from BBC Introducing. They invited him on the show and enjoyed it so much, they asked him back for a multiple sessions. Tyler Nugent signed with R&S Management, Managers of Nothing But Thieves and founders of Drive-Thru Records in December 2014 and embarked on his first tour with New City Kings in May 2015. Tyler recently performed LIVE on BBC Radio 4 on the Loose Ends show presented by Clive Anderson and also performed at Y Not Festival in Derby on the BBC quarry stage which aired live on BBC Radio. Tyler has over 12.5k YouTube subscribers and over 500,000 YouTube Hits and counting. Has heard on BBC Radio Nottingham/ Derby/ Leicester etc.. Tyler just released his début Birkland’s EP!
