Trio Nay is based near Liverpool and was formed in 2015 by jazz pianist Tom Sykes. As well as Tom the trio features vocalist Naomi Sykes (no relation) and double bassist Lee Webber, mainly performing material from the Great American Songbook by such songwriters as Cole Porter, the Gershwins, Jerome Kern and many more. Trio Nay has performed at festivals and given concerts as well as providing music for corporate events, garden parties and weddings.

We couldn't have been happier with the incredible musicians who performed at our wedding. From the very beginning, Tom was an outstanding point of contact—responsive, organised, and a pleasure to work with. He was always quick to reply, kept us updated throughout the planning process, and coordinated seamlessly with the rest of the band. We went through several iterations of our playlist, and Tom was incredibly patient and helpful in refining it. He gave us excellent advice on our entrance and exit songs, as well as recommending pieces that perfectly suited the atmosphere and our Asian wedding guests. On the day, the trio (piano, bass, and vocals) were fantastic. They set up quickly, adapted effortlessly to the flow of the day, and created a wonderful atmosphere for our guests. Even when we weren't available to give directions, they made thoughtful decisions, kept everything running smoothly, and ensured the music never stopped. The quality of the performance was exceptional, and we've had so many compliments from our guests. If you're looking for talented musicians who are professional, reliable, and genuinely care about making your day special, we couldn't recommend Tom and the band more highly. Thank you for helping make our wedding so memorable!
