Thank you, Late Night Trio - you were really great, just as I expected. It was fun making the arrangement for you to play and you made sure the whole team was there on time, looking good and playing with energy and such style. I’m guessing half the hall wouldn’t have known how good you are but the other half certainly enjoyed your music. And I was really happy to hear you play - and sing as well – what a voice you have. You are so versatile – cello, violin, lyra and singing and all to such a remarkably high standard. You played (and sang) a very good choice of music – and clearly you all loved playing it; I think that makes a big difference to the members of the audience’s own pleasure. Thank you so much for coming, for sorting yourselves out without any fuss and for making a significant difference to this celebration of the community hall's 50th anniversary! Your presence enabled the Courtenay Centre to raise its profile amongst the local movers and shakers, and the committee was amazed at the impact you made.
