Towse is a London-based folk-pop collective fronted by Californian singer-songwriter Grace Fellows. Grace performs solo and also with various ensembles, including with violinist Corwin Zekley, bassist Mark Gunner, and drummer Oscar York. We recently played a supporting slot for singer-songwriter-legend Jon Gomm near Leeds to over 200 people. If you like artists like Phoebe Bridgers, Joni Mitchel, Regina Spektor, Fiona Apple, or Joanna Newsom, you'll love us. This act brings to the table direct emotional communication and engaging story-telling with a fun groove and a sense of humour. The members have collectively a lifetime of experience studying music and gigging across multiple countries and in multiple genres. Grace met Mark and Oscar while studying the BIMM London Master's course in Popular Music Practice. Corwin and Grace met in the redwood forests of Northern California at a 50-years-running traditional music camp called Lark Camp.

I Invited Towse to do some session work and to fill a support slot for a Music for the Head & Heart showcase headlined by virtuoso international musician, Jon Gomm. I'm delighted to report that Towse is an amazing live ensemble as in the studio, and the sold-out audience loved the set. It's truly rare to find such original song writing with such a high quality of musicianship, entertainment at its very best! The world is a far better place for such creative talent.
