While we could tell you all about what we have done the truth is there in our videos, good or bad. Please go and have a look!! If you want to know more about us we have been professional musicians for over twenty years playing festivals, weddings, Irish clubs, acoustic clubs, Folk clubs, concerts, opening events, garden parties, house concerts, birthdays, cafes, pubs, and restaurants. Una comes from Ireland. She has a pure voice that is the core of what we do. We vary our style to try to match the occasion, sometimes quiet, sometimes with all guns blazing!!. We also talk a lot, so if you are up for the craic, then we will try to join in. We have our own PA that is suitable for about 100 people or we can play acoustically. Una is able to sing classic songs solo for any wedding, we have not put up videos, but we are happy to send you recordings if you wish to hear. We understand that your event is special and you may have a number of questions to ask. Well, we are here ready to answer them for you and to make your event as special as we can.

I have hired Tony and Una for live music at our venue Seamus O'Donnells in Bristol. Can’t thank them enough for the number of times they have created a brilliant atmosphere and got everyone enjoying the music. They honestly made our live music evenings great!! In fact, I have them come back three or four times a year to play live. They are a joy to work with, very professional. Una is a beautiful singer, and Tony adds the guitar. Together they always put on a wonderfully warm upbeat performance and what I like is they chat away to customers between songs creating a bit of craic as well. Not only will I be hiring them again I am happy to recommend them to everyone who wants a fun, professional live music duo. Thanks you two!!

A perfect duo for a celebratory occasion, none of this high volume, head-banging heavy metal... but a lovely couple of professional musicians who can turn their hand to most popular songs that we all know and then some.... prompt and reliable, and go that extra mile to please. Excellent backing sound too, all a bit smoke and mirrors to me but sounded like at least a four-piece band! Would definitely hire them for our next big celebration. What more can I say but "well done and thanks for making our day very memorable" Oh, and thanks for staying on and doing a few extra requests at short notice. A couple of real diamonds. What do your clients love most about your performances?

We have a vast experience of playing live and trying to create a bit of fun for people. We are not a trendy in-your-face pop duo. We are more relaxed with a bit of fun. More importantly, we do not play LOUD!! Again our videos give you a good idea of what we do.

Which venues have you performed at in the past?

We have played at birthdays/Cafes/real ale festivals/restaurants/acoustic clubs/Folk clubs/Trains/dog festivals/Xmas markets/weddings/funerals/dinner parties/house concerts/football clubs all over the UK. from Fylde to Cromer. From Bude to Saltburn.

Which artists have you been most influenced by?

We have always loved the Trouperdour singer-songwriters from the early 1970s with a bit of folk/Irish thrown in. We also try to mix in songs that are unusual to keep people guessing.

What is the most high profile gig you've performed?

We have been lucky enough to have played with the Furies on a tour in Ireland as well as a number of festivals like Folk on the pier at Cromer where we played to the sound of waves crashing underneath us! For high profile well we did the opening of Doncaster Rover's new football ground. Over 5000 people! We have so many more stories for another time....

Do you have different line-up options?

We are a couple, both musically and in life!! Sorry but we perform as a duo only.

What if my timings change after I've booked you?

If timings change (as they seem to do!) then we are flexible. Just let us know and we will make every effort to be there before time and ready to go.

Can you provide an iPod/DJ service before and between your sets?

Absolutely. This is a really popular request and we actually offer this service for free. If you'd like to use our PA for more music after the final set we are happy to let you use our PA until the venue closes. We provide this for an additional £100.

How much time do you need to set up?

We usually set up about 1 to 1.5 hours before the performance time. As soon as our PA is set up we can provide a free playlist service to help set the atmosphere and get your guests ready for our live performance!

Can you roam around while you perform?

Because we use PA we are limited in being able to roam around the venue. It is possible to do a few isolated acoustic songs if needed. If your event is all acoustic like a house concert we would be able to do this provided your guests understood that talking while we are singing is not recommended.

Can I pick the songs you play from the set list?

Our set lists are crafted from countless performances and learning what works best. We are happy for you to look through our song list and chat with us to make sure we play the songs you want. We would also if asked, give you our opinion as to what may work well for your event.

Is all of the equipment (e.g. PA & lighting) included in your quote?

Our PA and lighting system are included in your quote. Our PA is loud enough for approx 50 people. We usually require a minimum of 12ft by 6ft space to perform

Can you learn song requests before the event?

If a song isn't included in our song list there may still be a chance we already know it. If there is a special song you'd like us to learn we are happy to do this for you. There is no fee for this service as it will add to your event and make it even more special.
