(The National Liberal Club) Tom’s childhood was full of classical music, and he’s now a complete jazzer. He left his parents’ home at 8-years-old to be a Canterbury Cathedral chorister. As a normal childhood was interrupted, a mission to spread joy through music and performing began. Tom's singing, writing, and sax playing shines from a deep place in his heart. The euphoria of swingin' jazz, the intoxication of a Brazilian bossa rhythm, and the expressivity of a saxophone ballad captures his soul and audiences’ alike. “Tom Platts delivers a brilliant concoction of jazz with a soulful edge. Tom is a natural entertainer with a sharp wit - most evidently in his jazz-comedy show ‘Quite Frankly Sinatra’, exhibiting his impressions, character acting, stand-up comedy, and comedic takes on classic tunes.
