Tom Knowles

My name is Tom Knowles - I work around London as a freelance Musical Director and pianist, whilst continuing my studies at Trinity Laban Conservatoire. I'm well established in the North of the UK and in the South East of London as a pianist, musical director, composer and percussionist in musical theatre, classical, accompaniment, jazz and more contemporary music. Alongside MDing, composition has always been a passion of mine and I'm currently in the process of taking up every opportunity I can find to ensure I continue doing what I love most; music. I've directed shows and concerts in venues such as the Royal Albert Hall and Edinburgh Jazz Festival, as well as written music for adverts and chapel choirs. Having worked under Duncan Glenday at the RNCM for 4 years, piano is my main love, playing a variety of styles including jazz under Eileen Guppy's tuition. I now study under Deniz Gelenbe at Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance, where I am doing what I love every day. Feel free to drop me a message if you'd like a copy of my CV.
