I am a young independent composer and songwriter, whose speciality is traditional film scores and pieces, able to compose confidently and authentically within styles such as 1950s film soundtracks and light music, 1960s rock and baroque pop, 1970s funk, progressive rock and easy listening music and modern Hollywood soundtracks. I have been playing piano and composing music since the age of 12, operating entirely from my home studio utilising state of the art virtual orchestral instrument software. I am a keen fan of video games and film, having a lot of knowledge of the industries and their respective 'classics' - I am able to provide a variety of styles fitting for a game or film project, and have a very traditional style and approach to composition not often seen in modern composers. I am a songwriter, vocalist, keyboard player, guitar player and producer for indie band The Paperwaits, and within the year span of our career have self produced an LP of original music, and performed several gigs in and around Guildford.
