Tom Bonsall

Tom began his musical career from an early age, starting on the Violin before progressing onto the Alto Saxophone. Since then he has picked up a number of different instruments, including all common members of the Saxophone family, Guitar, Bass Guitar, Piano, and Orchestral Percussion. His interest in recording and production began with his A level in Music Technology and since then he has experienced producing music of a variety of styles, including House music, Hip Hop, Jazz, Pop, and EDM. Tom has never been one to turn down an opportunity and this has allowed him to gain experience across a number of different musical ventures, including pit band work with musical theaters, opera and plays as well as undertaking a wider range of professional gigs for a variety of functions. Now at the University of Birmingham, Tom sits on Tenor 1 in the University Big Band, Tenor 1 and Conductor of the University Sax Choir, as well as performing professionally with "The Apollo Quintet". He looks forward to gaining more experience and continuing to work with many more talented musicians in the future.
