Timothy is a London based Horn player currently freelancing as an orchestral musician. He has worked with orchestras such the BBC Symphony Orchestra, BBC Philharmonic Orchestra, Royal Scottish National Orchestra, Royal Liverpool Philharmonic Orchestra, Royal Philharmonic Concert Orchestra, London Chamber Orchestra and London Sinfonietta. Timothy graduated from the Royal Academy of Music in 2020, having studied with Michael Thompson, Richard Watkins, Martin Owen, Katy Woolley and Roger Montgomery. Timothy has performed under the baton of conductors such as Sir Mark Elder, Edward Gardner, Oliver Knussen, Semyon Bychkov, Ryan Wigglesworth, Marin Alsop and John Wilson. He has performed in many concert halls such as the Royal Albert Hall, Queen Elizabeth Hall, Cadogan Hall, Liverpool Philharmonic Hall, Sage Gateshead, Snape Maltings and has also performed in Italy, Switzerland, and South Korea. He thoroughly enjoys performing as a chamber musician and is a founding member of the Horn Quartet ‘Capital Horns’ and the Wind Quintet ‘Chiltern Winds’ with whom he performs regularly.
