As a pianist, Tim is highly regarded for his outstanding sight-reading ability and his adaptability across an exceptionally broad repertoire. Equally at home performing classical works, musical theatre scores, pop, rock, soul and contemporary music, he is a sought-after accompanist for rehearsals, auditions, concerts, examinations and live events. His ability to interpret new music quickly and accurately makes him a dependable choice for professional productions and demanding performance environments where flexibility and precision are essential. Tim currently serves as the Musical Director and Pianist for VocalWorks, a vibrant pop, soul and gospel choir known for its dynamic performances and engaging repertoire. In this role, he combines expert piano performance with musical leadership, arranging music, rehearsing singers and directing performances that inspire both audiences and choir members alike. Alongside his performing career, Tim is the Principal and Head of Music at Bath Academy of Musical Theatre, where he plays a central role in shaping the next generation of performers. His extensive teaching experience, combined with a deep understanding of musical theatre and vocal performance, enables him to mentor aspiring musicians with professionalism, enthusiasm and creativity. He holds both a BA (Hons) in Music and a Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE) in Music, reflecting his commitment to excellence in both performance and education.
