During his time at the RCM Tim had the pleasure of working with Bernard Haitink, John Wilson, Rafael Payare, Vladimir Ashkenazy, Maxim Vengerov, Steve Reich, and Alexander Polishchuk. His orchestral work includes performances with the Jersey Chamber Orchestra in the Jersey Opera House with conductor Eamonn Dougan. Highlights include Rachmaninoff’s 2nd piano concerto with soloist Ana Federova, and Mozart’s piano concerto K. 466 with soloist Peter Donohoe. As part of the Delphi Quartet, Tim has performed at the Marylebone Music Festival, Brighton Festival, and Kensington Concert Series. The Quartet held the Junior Fellows position at the Aberystwyth MusicFest, supporting clarinet quintet masterclasses guided by David Campbell and Donald Oehler. The course’s repertoire included Brahms, Mozart, Weber, Fuchs, and Baermann. The festival culminated in a performance of the Busch saxophone Quintet with Lars Lien, and Weinberg’s 3rd String Quartet. Tim has performed with singer songwriter Roo Panes at the Barbican, O2 Shepherd’s Bush Empire, Minack Theatre, and the Crumb in Penzance. Tim also enjoys working as a session cellist, recording with artists including Buzzcock’s guitarist Steve Diggle at Abbey Road Studios, Blanco White, Tom Holder, Lottie Gabriel, Roo Panes, and Patrick Dow. He plays regularly at functions and weddings with various other string quartets and trios. Tim has played in several Music Theatre productions, notably The Distance You Have Come – A Scott Allen Song Cycle at the Cockpit Theatre in Marylebone and at the Apollo Theatre in the West End. He has performed American Idiot at Mountview Theatre Academy, Cinderella by Rogers and Hammerstein at the Trinity Theatre in Tunbridge Wells, and Anastasia at the Bromley Youth Music Trust.
