Described as having “superb pianism and intelligent musicianship” (Pianist Magazine), Tiffany Buxton is establishing herself as one of the most exciting young pianists of this generation. Having graduated with a BMus from the Royal Northern College of Music, she is now studying with Norma Fisher at the Royal College of Music, London. Tiffany has previously studied under esteemed pedagogues, including Pascal Nemirovski, Graham Scott, Colin Stone, and Rena Phua, and receives regular coaching from Simon Lepper and Kathryn Sturrock. Tiffany is grateful to the Craxton Memorial Trust and the Drake Calleja Trust for their generous support. Tiffany has performed to international acclaim, receiving the audience prize at Singapore’s National Piano Competition in December 2019. She also received an Honourable Mention at the Nanyang International Music Competition 2020 and was a keyboard finalist in the Yamaha Music Foundation of Europe Scholarship competition. Tiffany has performed in esteemed venues including London’s Steinway Hall, King’s Place, St. James’s Sussex Gardens, the Austrian Cultural Forum, Stoller Hall, and Warwick Arts Centre, as well as Vienna’s Bösendorfer Salon and Canada’s Rolston Recital Hall. In 2024 Tiffany was invited to participate in the Chopin-Gesellschaft’s week-long Internationaler Meisterkurs für Pianisten in Darmstadt, Germany. She also performed at the Pianale Academy and Festival, where she received tuition from Ronan O’Hora, Dina Yoffe, Akiko Ebi, Elena Levit, and Uta Weyand. In 2025 Tiffany received a generous scholarship from the Cyril and Elizabeth Challice Fund to attend the prestigious Banff Centre in Canada, where she studied with Fabio Bidini, Joanna MacGregor and Hung-Kuan Chen. Tiffany has received further masterclass tuition from several highly acclaimed pianists including Sir Stephen Hough, Peter Donohoe, Christopher Elton, William Fong, Angela Brownridge, Jean-Efflam Bavouzet, and Philippe Cassard. Beyond her solo work, Tiffany enjoys collaborative playing and regularly accompanies instrumentalists and vocalists. She works as a duo with cellist Stefan Rogers, with whom she has performed at Southwark Cathedral, St. Mary Abbots Church, and St. Ann’s Church. With an affinity for art song, Tiffany was an accompanist on the RNCM Songsters Scheme for three consecutive years, receiving regular coaching from Julius Drake. She went on to win first prize and the accompanist award in the Lieder Competition in 2022. During her studies, her role as an accompanist involved masterclass tuition from Michael Dussek, David Jones, Jeremy Young, Qian Wu, Paloma Kouider, Donald Grant, and Petr Prause. Tiffany is also an enthusiastic and dedicated teacher, drawing on her experience as an international performer. Beyond her private teaching studio in London, she has led masterclasses and served as resident accompanist at The Purcell School, where she enjoyed working closely with some of the country’s most gifted young musicians.

Customer questions

What do your clients love most about your performances?

Clients consistently praise the sophistication and emotional impact of my performances. They love how the music creates the perfect atmosphere – whether it's an intimate ceremony moment, elegant cocktail reception, or uplifting corporate event. Many mention how seamlessly the music enhanced their celebration without overpowering conversations.

Which venues have you performed at in the past?

I've performed at a variety of beautiful venues across London and the surrounding areas, from elegant hotel ballrooms and historic manor houses to intimate private residences and modern corporate spaces. Each venue has its own unique character, and I love tailoring my performance to suit the setting perfectly.

Which artists have you been most influenced by?

I've been deeply influenced by the great pianists like Vladimir Horowitz, Arthur Rubinstein, and Martha Argerich for their technical brilliance and emotional depth. Glenn Gould's interpretative originality and Evgeny Kissin's poetic phrasing have also shaped my approach to performance.

What is the most high profile gig you've performed?

As an award-winning concert pianist, I've performed at numerous prestigious venues and competitions. Each performance is high-profile to me – whether it's a concert hall recital or a couple's wedding day. I bring the same level of artistry and professionalism to every event.

What if my timings change after I've booked you?

I understand that event timings can be unpredictable! I'm always happy to be flexible where possible. Just let me know as soon as you can if there are any changes, and I'll do my best to accommodate your new schedule.

How much time do you need to set up?

Setup time is usually 15-20 minutes if the venue has a piano in place, or 30 minutes if I'm bringing equipment. I always arrive early to ensure everything is tested and ready before your performance time, so you can relax knowing the music will start on schedule.

If I have a piano at my venue, are you happy to perform on that?

I can perform on any good quality acoustic piano or digital piano/keyboard. If your venue doesn't have an instrument available, please let me know in advance and we can discuss options.

Can I pick the songs you play from the set list?

Absolutely! I'm happy to work with you to create a personalised playlist that suits your event perfectly. Whether you'd like to choose every piece or just highlight a few special requests, I'll tailor the performance to your vision while suggesting what works beautifully for different moments throughout your celebration.

Are you able to bring your own piano or keyboard?

I can bring a professional digital piano for an additional fee to cover taxi/Uber costs (typically £50-100 depending on venue location), as I don't drive. However, most venues already have a suitable instrument available. Let's discuss your venue's setup to find the best solution.

Can you learn song requests before the event?

Of course! Many songs may already be in my repertoire even if not listed. For songs I need to learn from scratch, simple pieces can often be accommodated at no extra charge with advance notice, while more complex arrangements require a £30-50 fee to cover rehearsal time. Let's discuss your specific requests!
