I started playing the bagpipes at age 12 at school and have since gained a huge amount of experience at number of private and public events including the world famous Royal Edinburgh Military Tattoo (and its now annual tour to Sydney in 2019), the Queen's Platinum Jubilee Celebration at Windsor Castle as well as functions and dinners at Edinburgh Castle, St Giles Cathedral and The Royal Scots Club. On top of this, I have experience perfoming at miliary dinners, weddings, funerals and all other sorts of parties! I can recite all verses of the address to the Haggis, and am experienced in providing advice on all forms of piping entertainment. Please do get in touch with me to tailor your experience!

Theodore provided an extremely professional service during each part of the process. Whilst I chose some of the tunes, Theodore came up with a playlist of beautiful music which captivated our congregation of mourners. Highly professional Theo arrived 30 minutes before the service to tune his bagpipes in what were, challenging rainy conditions. Highly recommended I would definitely use him again.

What do your clients love most about your performances?

I hope my bagpiping! My clients also love the tailor made experience I provide for all events. I am adaptable and versatile and my experience in high pressure performace situations has set me up for all playing eventualities!

Which venues have you performed at in the past?

I have performed at numerous private and public venues including Edinburgh Castle, St Giles Cathedral, The Royal Scots Club, The ANZ Olympic Stadium in Sydney and The Assembly Rooms, Edinburgh. As well as a huge number of churches, parties and gatherings.

Which artists have you been most influenced by?

I play the pipes in the traditional Scottish Military style, and am as a result influenced by great pipers of old, as well as some contemporary competing pipers

What is the most high profile gig you've performed?

The Royal Edinburgh Military Tattoo, and the Royal Edinburgh Military Tattoo, Sydney in front of 250,000 spectators respectively!

What if my timings change after I've booked you?

So long as you provide me with 1 working day's notice I am very happy to provide time changes within reason

Can you provide an iPod/DJ service before and between your sets?

How much time do you need to set up?

I need roughly 20 minutes setup time in advance of the performance in order to tune the bagpipes properly for the performance

Can I pick the pieces you play from the set list?

Of course! My set list is not exhaustive and I have numerous other tunes in my repertoire. Please do get in touch with me if you have particular tune requests. Alternatively, if you have no tune preference, I am happy to tailor my set to your event type!

Do you bring all the equipment you need to perform?

Yes!

Can you learn specific pieces before the event?

I am happy to learn tunes in advance of your event if you have any special requests. There is a fee of £30 for this as learning tunes can take some time!
