Over my years as a performer I have become well versed in all playing styles, from jazz and blues all the way over to party tunes and DJ/Sax work. I have played residencies in various restaurants and hotels, including Mal Maison, Marco Pierre White's Steakhouse and Hotel Du Vin. I have been active in the private function circuit for many years, playing with the highest rated function bands in the country providing an energetic boost to the performance. I also go out as a soloist, playing along to both jazz and pop backing tracks to add ambience to any setting. I have my own fully wireless set up, portable battery powered PA and own personal transport.

Customer questions

What if my timings change after I've booked you?

I would be happy to accomodate timing changes as best I can leading up to the event.

Can you provide an iPod/DJ service before and between your sets?

Absolutely! I am happy to leave my PA running with background music between my sets.

How much time do you need to set up?

I would need no more than 30 minutes to set up for a solo performance.

Can I pick the songs you play from the set list?

My set lists are crafted from countless performances and learning what works best to best fit the atmosphere of the event. However, we're definitely happy to chat through and make sure we find what works for your event.

Do you bring all the equipment you need to perform?

Yes, absolutely! I bring my own instrument to play acoustically and all the equipment I would need to amplify myself and play music from.

Can you learn song requests before the event?

If a song isn't included in my song list there may still be a chance I already know it. If there is a special song you'd like me to learn we are happy to do this for you - this would normally come at an extra fee, which I would be happy to discuss on booking.
