“(Performing the Elgar Cello Concerto) Her playing was able to exude both grace and fury, as she ensured that Elgar was made her own, striking the cello with scrupulous ferocity, before metamorphosing such acts into ones of finesse… It took on a character of its own and enforced an identity upon it that was both full-blooded and dignified; passionate yet cerebral… You can find countless performances of Elgar’s Cello Concerto wherein the soloist simply performs the score, instead of adding to it. Not here, and that is why it was so striking.“ https://exepose.com/2017/01/27/a-review-of-eusos-winter-concert/

Customer questions

What do your clients love most about your performances?

My sound. I am a passionate and emotional player, and what is important to me is to express my connection to the music that I play.

Which venues have you performed at in the past?

I have played a vast range of concerts, from pop gigs in local venues to classical symphonies in Cadogan Hall. As a soloist with full symphony orchestra to solo cellist with pianist at private venues.

Do you have different line-up options?

Solo Cello Duo Cello (with my cello duo partner)

What if my timings change after I've booked you?

I will do my best to be flexible. If timings change please do just keep me informed.

How much time do you need to set up?

I don’t need very long to actually set up (15 mins) but depending on the event, I tend to aim to arrive 1 hour to 1.5hours before the event begins to ensure that things run smoothly during the performance and I am set up where you wish. This also gives me a chance to run through the programme and get used to the acoustics of the space.

Can I pick the pieces you play from the set list?

The pieces listed are simply suggestions from repertoire I have played in the past. I am very happy to play pieces requested in advance and am open to learning new repertoire if I do not already know it. I will tailor the music to your taste and requirements as I appreciate that each event is unique to those it involves.

Do you bring all the equipment you need to perform?

Yes I bring my own instrument and stand. All I request is an armless chair. If outdoors, then I would need a shaded or covered area for the sake of my instrument.

Can you learn specific pieces before the event?

Absolutely, I will do my best to accommodate any requests. Please contact me so that we can agree on your perfect playlist!
