The Yorkshire Military Band

This is a great band who we should see and hear more of. Very flexible in what they play and will consider special requests in advance. Professional Conductor Louise keeps everybody entertained when introducing items and is clearly loved and liked by the band members and audience alike. Very supportive of our now annual charity concert, raising funds for needy children at their school in Uganda. Aware that the band can perform military, classical, pop, film, musicals and big band music so are very versatile and accommodating.

We rebooked The Yorkshire Military Band for Armed Forces Day 2019 on the back of our previous bookings because of; the quality and variety of the military band music, the band members are all presented really well in their uniforms and because of the practical band input they gave us into the planning of our very first event including supporting us in a pre cursa fundraising event at the Penistone Paramount. But what really struck us was the way the band was received by the public and the overwhelming positive feedback that was given. The Yorkshire Military Band on the day of the 2019 Armed Forces Day event helped us out with big holes that presented a massive problem at the last minute right across our entertainment schedule thereby saving the event from awkward timing issues where we would have undoubtedly lost a significant amount of footfall. It's fair to say the The Yorkshire Military band was the backbone of Penistone Armed Forces Day.
