Featuring professional musicians who have performed all over the world, the band prides itself in truly capturing The Beatles’ sound. Playing authentic instruments and wearing Beatles-style costumes from all eras, the Beatles tribute band recreates the musical and vocal parts of the original records, along with the spirit of The Beatles who were such a fun band to watch during their live era. The Pretend Beatles will have you singing and dancing along from start to finish, with their wide ranging repertoire including all the classics. The band have played hundreds of gigs in the last few years, and earned a reputation as one of the best Beatles tributes around. Whatever the occasion – Weddings, birthday & anniversary parties, corporate events, bars, clubs or theatres the Pretend Beatles are guaranteed to raise a smile! THE SHOW The Pretend Beatles are available to perform across the UK and beyond. A typical show will feature more than 30 songs from across The Beatles' career, divided into two sets of at least 45 mins each (or one long set of 90 mins) or longer sets by prior arrangement. Our theatre show features 2 sets of one hour long. Usually in the first set the band wear costumes from the Beatles' earlier performing years, changing into a later period Beatle costume, such as “Shea Stadium” or “Abbey Road” for the second set. Both sets include songs from across the Beatles' career from 1962 to 1970. All performances are 100% live using authentic amps and instruments to help recreate The Beatles' sound. All equipment is PAT tested, and we have public liability insurance. We can also provide pre-show and interval DJ music for no additional fee.
