We're an eight piece band with full-on horns and full-on fun, performing our own fabulous mix of music from The Specials, Madness, The Blues Brothers, The Commitments and Bad Manners to name just a few. Add to that some great classics in The Kazbaas’ own special style and you’re guaranteed to have a fantastic time. We are all about having fun! We came together as a group of friends and have grown and evolved into an act that thrives on sharing our love of enjoying up-tempo proper dance music.

I asked the KazBaas to play at a community hall for my birthday. All the arrangements were very well communicated, payment made prior to the event. The KazBaas offered to play whatever playlist I wanted at the start of the event and during the interval. This was a great idea .. all my favourite songs from my youth were added to the playlist and really helped with my enjoyment of the event. The band arrived as planned and then worked very hard to get everything set up and sound checked before the guests arrived. The band did 2 sets for us, each of 1 hour. They were also happy to re-arrange songs to fit in with my dance routine! The KazBaas are excellent at their craft. They are great musicians and also great fun. As usual only a few were dancing at the start of the first set, but by the end of the second set everyone was on the dance floor having a great time. The band members even came onto the dance floor to play a few numbers up close and personal, that really did work well. The KazBaas are good at what they do and they worked incredibly hard all evening to ensure it was a great performance. I loved it and many of my friends said it was the best party they had been to in a long time. I would recommend them for any private event.

The band was amazing and made our evening so much fun! Brilliant music that had everyone dancing from the 4 yr olds up to the 94 yr olds. Highly highly recommend

What do your clients love most about your performances?

It’s the Kazbaas’ instant fun and energy that gets people up and involved from the start. They love our song selection of classics, many of which we play in our own party style.

Which venues have you performed at in the past?

We’ve performed at countless great venues over the years from small pubs to large arenas and festivals. The number of guests isn’t so important; the main attraction for us is that the people are having a great time!

Which artists have you been most influenced by?

Just take a look at our song list! Clearly lots of 2-tone and ska bands such as The Specials and Madness, but we also love some great disco classic artists.

What is the most high profile gig you've performed?

That has to be the O2 arena in London! We were invited to be the warm-up for a big charity event that was happening there and played in front of around 10,000 people. A fabulous experience!

Will the singer be the same as who I see in the videos?

We strive to make sure the line-up you see is what you get on the night. We do have some well rehearsed stand-in musicians available in case a band member falls ill or is unavailable. Our reputation important so you can be confident that all of our players are of a very high level and we want to be sure you get the best performance!

Do you have different line-up options?

The Kazbaas consists of three lead vocals, one of which also plays keys and another is on bass guitar. There’s also rhythm guitar and drums, and finally our horns of sax, trumpet and trombone. Those eight are our standard line-up and that’s how we like to perform.

What if my timings change after I've booked you?

We always try to be flexible and will do what we can to make your event work for you.

Can you provide an iPod/DJ service before and between your sets?

We can easily connect an iPod or other music player of your choice.

Is all of the equipment (e.g. PA & lighting) included in your quote?

Yes, it’s all included.We have a PA and lighting system that’s flexible to suit most venues from small cosy places up to large function rooms. It also has a dedicated operator.
