The Get BackBeats are a swinging rock n roll band you can book for your wedding, function, party or any event that needs the dance floor full with everyone twistin’ and shoutin’…. Playing hits by The Beatles, The Kinks, Rolling Stones, The Who, Buddy Holly, Sam Cooke, Chuck Berry, Queen, Van Morrison, with many many more and always a few surprises thrown in. We’re happy to tailor our set to any certain requirements such as genres or even specific songs given sufficient notice. Extra services are also available including; a softer acoustic set during dinner/reception, and ongoing dj set to keep the party going through the night. We provide our own equipment (including lights and smoke machine) and manage our own pa system without need for an in-house technician. Based in Manchester and the South East we play in many locations up and down the country to rave reviews and we’re always prepared to travel to your event, wherever it may be. The cost of which is always included in the fee.

Tom and the band were absolutely fantastic- nothing was too much trouble – they played an amazing set and the whole party agreed they were the best band they have seen! My husband and I have seen both Rogers Waters and David Gilmore and Tom and his band were just as good singing ‘wish you were here’- excellent! So glad we found them.

I wanted to thank you for making our Birthday Party celebration just perfect. The night was such a success and everyone had a wonderful time. With 85 guests and a range of ages your choice of songs could not have been better and what made it so special was that you all seemed to have fun too, you really are true professionals.

Customer questions

What if my timings change after I've booked you?

We always try our best to be flexible to help ensure your event runs as smoothly as possible. If timings change slightly in the run up to the event just let us know.

Can you provide an iPod/DJ service before and between your sets?

Absolutely. This is a really popular request and we actually offer this service for free. If you'd like a DJ service via our PA after the final set until the venue closes, we provide this for an additional £100

How much time do you need to set up?

We usually set up about 1 to 1.5 hours before the performance time. As soon as our PA is set up we can provide a free playlist service to help set the atmosphere and get your guests ready for our live performance!

Can I pick the pieces you play from the set list?

Our set lists are crafted from countless performances and learning what works best to ensure guests dance and have an amazing time. However, we're definitely happy to chat through and make sure we find what works for your event.

Do you bring all the equipment you need to perform?

Yes. We are completely self sufficient. We just require power.

Can you learn specific pieces before the event?

Absolutely. Given enough notice of course (3 weeks minimum)

What do your clients love most about your performances?

We have had very positive feedback regarding our musicianship, choice of songs and our singer's voice. Tom also plays a bit of harmonica which has proved popular with audiences too.

Which venues have you performed at in the past?

We have family in the South East and are based in the North West so we have played throughout the England and Wales. We played a friend's wedding in Germany once and our bass player has just returned from a tour in Australia. (The rest of us aren't jealous at all!)

Which artists have you been most influenced by?

The Beatles, The Kinks and Oasis would be our top 3 influences.

What is the most high profile gig you've performed?

We played a private party for a cruise ship company in the managing director's garden. Great fun!
