They played for our wedding ceremony in June and started slightly before during people arriving /taking their seats - being the bride I only heard a few songs but what I heard sounded so beautiful and romantic! Everyone said how classy it was too. It was so lovely that they learned new songs for us, and Nick was flexible with making some adjustments to the song that I walked down the aisle to. Being a huge Taylor Swift fan, they learned/played 3 arrangements of her songs for us and I can't describe how magical it was to walk down the aisle to a live, stunning string version of a song that's had a special place in my heart for 14 years. Very happy we chose Yorkshire String Duo, Nick was very communicative and helpful right from the enquiry through to the organising of the actual day. Thank you both so much!

Absolutely fantastic, nice and early at the venue with no additional input required from the Bride or Groom. Quality and value for money and very presentable- also very patient as the service did start late. I would highly recommend as a perfect soundtrack to your special day!!!

Dear Yorkshire String Duo, Jon and I wanted to contact you to thank you for performing at our wedding last week. To say ourselves and our guests were touched, impressed and blown away with your performance would be an understatement. We had picked our music so carefully but we weren't prepared as to just how emotional it would be to hear you playing them for us. It was ridiculously romantic and my eye's still fill up with tears remembering how perfect it was. Everybody without exception commented on how beautifully you both played, it added that extra sparkle to what was always going to be a magical day for us and our guests. Huge thanks again, and don't be surprised if we contact you again to ask if you would play at our first wedding anniversary celebration . Wishing you all the best Rachel and Jon xxx

Thank you so much for playing at Helen and Stuart’s wedding on Sunday. Unfortunately we were unable to sit and listen to most of it but what we did hear was wonderful.
