The band were great and the audience enjoyed their performance. If there was one criticism it would be that there were some relatively long gaps in between pieces, so for our bandstand audience this would be something that would need to be tightened up slightly.

Happy to take that on board Alex. It will be improved if we're booked again. Maybe it's because we didn't have the mike so could tell the audience about the pieces we played: even a minute to change music can seem a long time when it's silent.

The Wensum Valley Quintet is made up of fantastic musicians who provided the most perfect backdrop to our wedding drinks reception. The communication from Peter was excellent, and we appreciated that he checked in at regular stages during the run up with programme suggestions and updates. Our special requests were even taken on board and the music for “lady in red” was arranged especially for us! Very happy to recommend the quintet to everyone and anyone looking to add a special touch to their event. From Mr and Mrs Cooper!

Maisie made an early contact which gave us sufficient time to collect a couple of "special requests" for her. We were looked after on the day and everything worked really well. Good organisation and thanks for the very enjoyable gifts. Peter

Dear Eric Many thanks to you and the Quintet for setting the scene so well at our celebration on Saturday . It was very much appreciated and the right choice of music for the occasion. My apologies for not supplying liquid refreshment whilst you were playing. I found to my horror that had we run out of the appropriate glasses and the lemonade for the Pimms, minutes before you finished. It all went very well .Mary and I left ourselves with quite a lot to do on the day which meant there were a few loose ends Looking forward to seeing you in September

What do your clients love most about your performances?

We are musicians. We play without amplification but can play loudly or quietly, according to what's required. We try to perform the music our clients have requested, even writing special arrangements to fit the occasion.

Which venues have you performed at in the past?

We have performed in many of the local churches - the Royal Norfolk Showground and at various private garden parties and garden centres.

Do you have different line-up options?

The line up can be increased to 10 or even more if required. A full Concert Band or Brass Band (25+ people) might be available if requested.

What if my timings change after I've booked you?

We try to be as accommodating as possible but do give us as much notice as you can.

Can you provide an iPod/DJ service before and between your sets?

This isn't really applicable in our case.

How much time do you need to set up?

The Quintet can normally set up in approximately 10 minutes.

Can you roam around while you perform?

This isn't really applicable in our case but not impossible.

Can I pick the songs you play from the set list?

Send us a list of the type of music you would like and we will do all we can to fulfill your requirement

Is all of the equipment (e.g. PA & lighting) included in your quote?

Other than chairs, yes.

Can you learn song requests before the event?

If a piece of music isn't in our current library, we may still be able to buy, or make an arrangement of it for your special event.
