The Uproar are an outstanding 5 piece live band of experienced, talented and friendly musicians, ready to fill your dance floor with our high-energy, pop, rock and dance covers! Prepare to create unforgettable memories with your guests as we play a blend of classic and contemporary tunes that will keep everyone dancing all night long! We also offer a stunning acoustic duo or trio to create the perfect atmosphere for your ceremony, reception drinks or dinner. Our band members have vast experience of performing at weddings, corporate events, clubs and festivals, musical theatre productions, cruise ships, TV and radio and even a Danish circus tour. We are based in Surrey, but regularly perform in London, Sussex, Hampshire, Kent and beyond! The Uproar are THE band for a party and were amazing! Kelly, who handles their bookings, was very responsive, quickly and patiently answering all my questions and checking in a few days before to confirm logistics. I don't recall any point during the night when they were playing that there weren't guests on the dance floor. And I think nearly every guest hit the dance floor for the Killers Mr Brightside! Everyone was on their feet dancing and everyone was impressed by the quality of the band and their music. Wholeheartedly recommend them for whatever occasion you may have!

Customer questions

Will the singer be the same as who I see in the videos?

We strive to make sure the line-up you see is what you get on the night. We do have pre-audititioned 'dep' musicians available in case a band member falls ill or is unavailable. As a professional band our reputation means everything so you can be confident that all of our players are of a very high level.

Do you have different line-up options?

Our line-up is as follows: Vocals, Guitar, Bass Guitar, Keys, Drums. We also provide an acoustic duo: Vocals with Guitar or Keyboard, and an acoustic trio with all three.

What if my timings change after I've booked you?

We always try our best to be flexible to help ensure your event runs as smoothly as possible. If timings change slightly in the run up to the event just let us know.

Can you provide an iPod/DJ service before and between your sets?

Absolutely. This is a really popular request and we actually offer a complimentary filler music service before the performance, in between sets and until the end of the night (this is an iPod playlist and not a DJ service).

How much time do you need to set up?

We usually set up about 1.5 -2 hours before the performance time. As soon as our PA is set up we can provide a free playlist service to help set the atmosphere and get your guests ready for our live performance!

Can I pick the songs you play from the set list?

Our set lists are crafted from countless performances and learning what works best to ensure guests dance and have an amazing time. However, we're definitely happy to chat through and make sure we find what works for your event.

Is all of the equipment (e.g. PA & lighting) included in your quote?

Our PA and lighting system is included in your quote. We usually require a minimum of 3m x 5m space to perform.

Can you learn song requests before the event?

If a song isn't included in our song list there may still be a chance we already know it. If there is a special song you'd like us to learn we are happy to do this for you. There is a fee of £100 for this service to take into account learning and rehearsal times etc.
