The Upbeat Band

THE UPBEAT BAND provide exciting, entertaining and danceable live music. They are the perfect band for your special birthday party, wedding, outdoor event, or your club or pub. The experienced six piece band comprises guitar, keyboards, bass and drums, and is fronted by two talented vocalists. Members of The Upbeat Band include four ex-professional musicians, who have decades of experience touring worldwide. This talented band have gained an enviable reputation, and are rebooked wherever they perform. Their eclectic and extensive repertoire includes songs by Adele, Stevie Wonder, Earth Wind and Fire, Sister Sledge, Beyonce, Daft Punk, James Brown and Aretha Franklin, and for those that want to ‘rock out’ – they have something for you as well! Their large repertoire means that they can adapt their sets to suit the venue or event, and although the songs are mostly ‘upbeat’ they can also mix in some ballads and ‘smooth soul’ material. All the musicians use state of the art pro gear and the band has a full range PA system that is powerful enough for outdoor events, but is equally at home in a small pub or club. They also carry a full lighting rig.
