Straight out of Shoreditch, The Sweet Spot is one of London's ultra modern indie pop wedding and event bands for hire. The boys are all good friends, and are well-known among their musical colleagues as being the cream of the crop. Not only do they take their music professions seriously, their image is part and parcel of who they are and what they deliver. So if you're looking for a band that's going to have everyone on the dance floor, nail each song time and time again, and look stellar while doing all of that, then The Sweet Spot is what you need. The Sweet Spot comes in a 3-piece or 4-piece lineup. The trio is lead vocals/guitar, bass, drums with backing vocals. The 4-piece includes the addition of lead guitar. The trio works well for smaller spaces and budgets, whereas the 4-piece is perfect for larger rooms, and those who are really wanting to maximise the impact of their event! With a repertoire of 200+ songs to browse through, The Sweet Spot will take on board all of your favourites from their repertoire and craft a setlist based around your tastes so you can be sure you get to hear exactly what you want on your big day. Their repertoire covers several decades worth of hits, including genres such as Britpop, indie, pop, rock, alternative, and even a touch of soul, funk, disco and glam rock! The Sweet Spot endeavour to cover roughly 32 songs in up to 2 hours of performance, and will also learn your first dance for you or an 'off the menu' song request for non-wedding events. The band members themselves have all been gigging together since the back end of 2021. The Sweet Spot's front-man, Oli, is an established original artist with 35,000+ monthly listeners on Spotify. As an accomplished vocalist, guitarist, and producer, Oli spends most of his time in the studio making new music and working with London's best talent. The instrumentalists in the band include Ewan on bass and backing vocals who has performed with the likes of Emeli Sande, and Sasy Mankan (7.8m followers on IG); Connor on drums who has performed at Isle of Wight Festival and Y NOT festival; and Todd on lead guitar who is a professional touring guitarist who has toured with Go West, and Azure Ryder among others. Upon booking the band you will have the opportunity to pencil in timings for your event for the band to follow. The Sweet Spot endeavour to be as flexible as possible, so whatever timings you have in mind, it's most likely they'll be able to accommodate your requests. The Sweet Spot attend each event fully briefed and with a PA and lighting system so that they're fully self-contained, which makes booking the entertainment as simple as clicking the 'Book' button. One of the band members is also a DJ, so should you be after a pro DJ to keep the dance floor going between and after live sets, the band's bassist can bring his decks, and DJ table and take all your requests in advance and on the night to keep everyone happy and having an unforgettable time!
