About The SoulMates

The SoulMates have been going strong for over twenty years, so we must be doing something right!
Wedding band
Greater London
Public liability insurance of £10 million

The SoulMates history goes back over 20 years, when a bunch of then session musicians came together to form a really top class Soul outfit. Two members were part of The First Class - remember the 70's classic hit 'Beach Baby'? - with other members having performed with many well known acts such as The Sweet, Edwin Starr, Marillion, Cutting Crew. For many years now, The SoulMates have been performing at weddings, functions & events all across the southeast, mainly booked on recommendation or word-of-mouth & repeat business. Fully equipped with PA system and lights, The SoulMates boast a fantastic brass section giving that fat brass sound that you just can't copy with a keyboard! With female & male lead vocals, guitars, brass & keyboards, you get the best of every genre. With an eclectic mix across the decades, our repertoire includes hits from artists like: Ellis Hall Chuck Berry Jerry Lee Lewis Robert Parker Jr. Frank Sinatra The Temptations Otis Redding The Beatles Jackie Wilson Otis Redding James Brown The Beatles The Monkees Tom Jones Supremes Eddie Floyd Wilson Pickett Otis Redding Wilson Pickett Otis Redding Ike & Tina Turner The Supremes Ray Charles Otis Redding Sam & Dave Ben E. Hello Jon and The Soul Mates - We just wanted to write and thank you sooooo much for the fantastic performance you gave at our wedding in July. We thought you were absolutely amazing and we are so pleased that we booked you! The selection of songs you did were all excellent, and we particularly liked your version of 'Have I Told You Lately' which we had as our first dance. All the songs you played got everyone up dancing and they didn't sit down until you had finished! Even my parents danced and that's unheard of! Everyone has told us how fantastic they thought you were and we wouldn't hesitate to recommend you as you made our night! We've been trying to think what occasion we can book you for in the future, and we'll definitely hang on to your number! Many, many thanks again.

Thank you so much for a brilliant night on Sunday - everybody loved you and wants you back soon! I have never seen the club make so much noise for one more song - you were all brilliant.
