What do your clients love most about your performances?

The most common feedback we get is how there is something for everyone in a Snapbacks set. We specialise in funk, soul, disco, Motown and RnB, but we hand-pick our sets from over 7 decades of music to make sure you get the vibes you want at your event.

Which venues have you performed at in the past?

We've performed at some of the UK's premier events spaces such as ballrooms, stately homes, exhibition centres, theatres and more. One of our favourites has to be performing underneath Concorde for a corporate Summer party!

Which artists have you been most influenced by?

As funk-soul obsessives, we love the classics like Jackson 5, Marvin Gaye, Stevie Wonder, James Brown and more...but we have favourites from every decade! Kool and the Gang, Whitney Houston, Lauryn Hill, Faith Evans, Destiny's Child, RAYE, Olivia Dean...we could go on!

What is the most high profile gig you've performed?

Between us, we've had a few...performing on TV, performing for the Royal Family, performing at festivals to 10,000s people...there's too many to choose from!

Will the singer be the same as who I see in the videos?

Accepted Answer

We pride ourselves on being a fixed-lineup band who work together on a regular basis to produce a tightly-rehearsed show. From time-to-time, there are reasons such as illness or holidays which might mean one of us is unavailable. On such occasions, we have a small group of trusted pros we can draft in to make sure we still give you a top-notch experience.

Do you have different line-up options?

Our standard show is with a 4-piece band, however if you would like to include Sax and Trumpet we can arrange this for an additional cost. We have a carefully curated list of the best brass and woodwind musicians to add that extra funky element to the show!

What if my timings change after I've booked you?

Accepted Answer

We will always be as flexible as possible and pride ourselves on our extensive experience in events music management. We know the stresses and strains of running live events and whatever it is, we've probably dealt with it before! If anything happens, just let us know and we'll get back to you ASAP with a solution.

Question 8

Can you provide an iPod/DJ service before and between your sets?

Of course! We provide a free DJ service before and between sets as standard. If you would like to continue this later into the night after the band finishes, we can provide this for a small additional fee.

Question 9

How much time do you need to set up?

Accepted Answer

To set up our fully self-contained show, it takes approximately 90 minutes from accessing the space to being ready to perform. It is important to note this time cannot be shortened, even if your event is running late. Setup is normally done in the 90 minutes before the first performance, however we can arrive earlier if required to avoid clashes.

Can I pick the songs you play from the set list?

If you have a handful of funk-soul favourites then tell us and we will make sure we play them!
However, we usually advise against writing a whole setlist in advance of your event, as we need to be ready to 'read the room' on the night in order to keep the dancefloor bouncing!

Question 11

Is all of the equipment (e.g. PA & lighting) included in your quote?

Accepted Answer

Our quote includes a full sound and lighting package suitable for up to 400 guests. We usually ask for a stage area of minimum 4 x 3 metres plus space for your guests to dance. We can arrange equipment suitable for larger audiences if required, however this may incur a cost. If you're not sure about your event, just ask us and we'll get back to you ASAP.

Can you learn song requests before the event?

We offer the option of one custom song free with each performance. If you would like more than one custom song, these can be added at a cost of £40 per song (to cover additional rehearsal time).
