The Shipsters

Can't recommend The Shipsters highly enough! They played for our wedding in September and were fantastic from start to finish. They were quick to respond to emails, extremely helpful with any questions and really lovely to work with. On the day, they got everyone up and dancing and reeling, with even the most novice dancers laughing and jigging with the best of them! They also very kindly let us use their sound system for our disco after they had finished their set, and were helpful throughout with setting up 1st dance etc. The feedback we have had from guests about the ceilidh has been phenomenal, with so many people saying how great the band and caller were. Thank you again for making our big day incredible!

The Shipsters played at our wedding and were fantastic. The ceilidh was so much fun and everyone got involved, even those who would usually be reluctant to dance. The band selected the dances to suit the novice standard and the caller was very clear in the instructions. The band were very communicative and accommodating, even playing background tunes during the dinner and adjusting their times to suit our schedule. They also brought their own PA system and took care of all the planning and soundchecking themselves. I would highly recommend the Shipsters for anyone looking for a fantastic ceilidh band who are guaranteed to put on a good time.
