Bringing you classics from the 1950s and 1960s, The Runaround Kids will take you back to the golden age of music. We will have both young and old rocking and rolling on the dance floor, with rip-roaring versions of the greatest music ever written. The Runaround Kids are a premier vintage act, having played all over the world, as headline acts on both UK and American Cruise Lines, as well as in theatres and music venues across the UK. Formed in early 2014, we deliver at authentic 1950s/60s Rock n Roll experience. Composed of professional musicians from London’s West End, it was the love of Rock n Roll music that brought us together, particularly perfroming in classic shows like Buddy, Dreamboats and Petticoats, and the Commitments. Other West End credits in the group include: Jersey Boys, School of Rock and Phantom of the Opera. Expect an unforgettable night with energetic and exciting renditions of all the rock n roll classics that everyone loves.

What do your clients love most about your performances?

We deliver an authentic and polished vintage sound, combined wiht an energetic and fun performance. We bring the old classics to life! People always remark that the best thing about this music is that both young and old love it.

Which venues have you performed at in the past?

We have grown from strength to strength since we formed in 2014. Currently, we perform on cruise ships as a headline guest entertainment act, performing to thousands of people per night. We have also played in theatres in the UK as well as at private functions.

Which artists have you been most influenced by?

We adore: Elvis, Chuck Berry, Buddy Holly, The Everly Brothers, Little Richard to name a few.

What is the most high profile gig you've performed?

We did a stint at the Charing Cross theatre in the heart of London's West End - boy that was fun!

Do you have different line-up options?

Our standard lie-up is a four piece band. However, we can offer anywhere from a 3 to 7 piece line-up.

What if my timings change after I've booked you?

You can book us for the day and we are happy to work around your timings.

Can you provide an iPod/DJ service before and between your sets?

Absolutely. We can provide more vintage music or change it up with more modern floor-fillers.

How much time do you need to set up?

1.5 Hours

Can you roam around while you perform?

The singer can usually roam around with a wireless microphone and get people dancing!

Can I pick the songs you play from the set list?

We have been playing this music for years and have a broad repertoire that we're happy for you to choose from.

Is all of the equipment (e.g. PA & lighting) included in your quote?

Yes.

Can you learn song requests before the event?

We are happy to learn a first dance or special request (within reason)
