About The Retrosettes

The Retrosettes are a fun and lively quintet playing covers of well known songs from the 50s, and 60's, and modern covers in a retro style

The Retrosettes are a fun and lively quintet playing covers of well known songs from the 50s, and 60's, but will also throw in some quirky covers of modern songs just to keep you on your toes! Consisting of two lead vocalists (male and female) backed by guitar, bass, piano/organ and drums The Retrosettes have influences in Northern Soul, 60's Brit Pop, Rock N Roll, Gypsy Jazz and Soul. Their wide repertoire spans from The Beatles and Elvis, to The Black Keys and Adele. The retrosettes were also featured in the film Youth alongside Michael Caine and have just finished a tour with Simply Red! Too big for what you need? The quintet can reduce to a trio (2 vocals, guitar, piano and bass) and even a duo (2 vocals, guitar, piano). The Retrosettes trio can also be completely acoustic too. Our band has a full PA system, and also has the facility to play music through the speakers when we are not performing. We are also able to learn a song request at fairly short notice!

Just wanted to say thanks for last night - We have had nothing but positive comments from our guests about yourselves - including the photographer who said that you were probably the best wedding band he had seen! Everyone seemed to have a really good dance too, so thank you!

We booked The Retrosettes for our wedding. They looked and sounded amazing, and were accommodating to all our requirements on the day. Everyone loved them, and kept people on the dance floor all night long. Have already recommended to some friends
