Since 2006, our family-run band has delivered unforgettable performances that have made us one of the most in-demand bands around. But what sets us apart isn’t just our professional musicianship, although that’s top-notch too. It’s our friendly, helpful approach that puts you – the client, and your guests – at the heart of everything we do
Which venues have you performed at in the past?
From the magnificent Grosvenor, Hilton, and Cafe Royal hotels to the stunning Leeds Castle and Hever Castle, to the charming Cooling Castle Barn and Winters Barns, or The Bell In Ticehurst, The Redfords feel right at home in any venue.
Which artists have you been most influenced by?
From Pop to Rock, Indie to Disco, Funk to Jazz, and R&B Soul/Motown hits spanning decades – 50s, 60s, 70s, 80s, 90s, 00s, and beyond. You’ll hear all your favourites from Rihanna to The Beatles, The Killers to Spice Girls, Abba to Blink 182, Lizzo to A-Ha, Queen to Mumford and Sons and so very much more.
What is the most high profile gig you've performed?
The Redfords have rocked out and entertained countless famous folks and big companies. They've got the experience to feel comfortable in any venue, whether it's a massive stadium or an intimate setting. Each event is special, and we make sure to give it the attention it deserves.
Will the singer be the same as who I see in the videos?
We offer a unique service that is tailored to your specific needs. We are a wedding band, not a music agency, and we only book one band wedding per day. This ensures that the continuity and quality of our product is not compromised. The same musicians will attend every wedding, and we have trusted deputy musicians who will attend in the event of illness.
Do you have different line-up options?
The Redfords provide a variety of musical options, including an Acoustic Duo, a Roaming band, and a full live Band. Their ensemble consists of talented singers, skilled guitarists, a solid bassist, and dynamic drummers.
What if my timings change after I've booked you?
Each event is a one-of-a-kind experience, and we are dedicated to collaborating with you to make your day truly exceptional.
Can you provide an iPod/DJ service before and between your sets?
Our free real DJ service is perfect for any event, big or small. Whether you’re looking for someone to play music from your own playlist or our extensive list of tried and tested dance floor-filling flexible playlists, we’ve got you covered. Our real DJ can take requests and make announcements on the night ensuring that your guests are always entertained.
How much time do you need to set up?
With over 100 weddings and events played every year, The Redfords know how to set up the perfect stage for your big day. We’ll have you dancing the night away in no time- it only takes us about 50 minutes to an hour to set up once we have access to the performance area. And if you want us to set everything up earlier – we also offer an early setup option.
Can I pick the songs you play from the set list?
Get ready to dance all night to your favourite beats! Our live band and professional real DJ are ready to play your requested songs all evening long. Plus, we’re happy to take more requests as the night goes on. We’ll even touch base ahead of time to make sure we hit all your must-play songs.
Is all of the equipment (e.g. PA & lighting) included in your quote?
We understand that the right sound and lighting can make all the difference at an event. Whether you’re hosting a small gathering or a large-scale celebration, we have the equipment and expertise to ensure that your evening sounds and looks its best. The stage set-up is industry-leading, with the very best pro sound/ lighting equipment
Can you learn song requests before the event?
Our band is thrilled to learn and perform the perfect first dance song for you, tailored to your preferred genre and style. Choose from our extensive repertoire of pop, rock, soul, R&B, and beyond. Don’t see your favourite on our Songlist? Just let us know and we’ll happily learn it for you.
