Customer questions

Do you have different line-up options?

Our regular lineup is Vocals, Guitar, Fiddle, Keys and Bass. Our musicians are multi instrumentalists, however, and can also offer other choices, including: Accordion, Banjo, Baritone Sax and Brass. If you want a fuller sound, we have deps who can also add Drums/Percussion and other instruments...

What if my timings change after I've booked you?

We're always as flexible as we can be with timings. Obviously, the more notice we have, the easier this is. Changes to start and end times may incur additional fees if they greatly extend our commitment time. This is especially so, the further we have to travel.

Can you provide an iPod/DJ service before and between your sets?

We are happy to provide options for PA hire, so that you can connect your own device to our system for background music. Currently, this is charged at £60-100 per hour (or part thereof) depending on the time of day. This can also include the use of microphones for speeches at weddings.

How much time do you need to set up?

We ask for a minimum of 1 hour to set up and sound check. The longer the better, and at least 1 musician will usually aim to arrive at the venue 1.5 hours before we're due to start.

Can you roam around while you perform?

We have options to play some instruments acoustically, but we don't generally 'roam' while performing.

Can I pick the songs you play from the set list?

If it's on our Encore set list page, we're happy for you to request it!

Is all of the equipment (e.g. PA & lighting) included in your quote?

All PA is included in our quote. Basic uplighters and disco lighting is available to hire for an additional £100 per event.

Can you learn song requests before the event?

If a song suits our style (and lead singer's voice) we're happy to have a look at it. We cannot guarantee adding new songs to the repertoire, and there may be additional cost involved. The more time you give us with this, the better!
