The Pause are a strictly acoustic-only duo, consisting of a female vocalist with a beautiful yet powerful voice, and a versatile and tasteful guitar player. Together they put their own touch on many pop and rock classics as well as modern contemporary songs. Some of their set you might never have expected to hear done acoustically, but they pull it off with ease. Their sound is perfect for any wedding venue. Charlie and Hannah learnt a new song for us which they performed in our wedding ceremony. They sent us a demo version before so that they knew we were happy with it. On the day they were fantastic. They arrived and set up without us even knowing, and performed beautifully during the ceremony and the reception drinks. We loved their version of our song and we would absolutely recommend them. Thank you both for everything, it was perfect.

Charlie and Hannah, Thank you so much for giving us exactly what we wanted at our wedding and more! Without me even saying anything, one of the first songs you sang was my sister and brother-in-law's first dance so a very special song for us all (1000 years). I could've listened to you all day and the transitioning between acoustic and evening disco was just seamless. Do you have different line-up options?

No.

What if my timings change after I've booked you?

No problem, we try to be super flexible as we know how important your event is to you and it is just as important to us that you are happy with our element of the event. If you need us on site for longer than planned we may need to add to our fee slightly.

Can you provide an iPod/DJ service before and between your sets?

Yes, we have a computer with DJ software and lots of music to choose from.

How much time do you need to set up?

About 30 minutes depending on your venue layout.

Can you roam around while you perform?

No sorry, and we only play amplified through a PA system.

Can I pick the songs you play from the set list?

Sure :)

Is all of the equipment (e.g. PA & lighting) included in your quote?

Oh yes yes yes!

Can you learn song requests before the event?

Yep, this is an extra service we offer. (See pricing). You will also get a recording to keep of your chosen song. We ask for as much notice as possible if you require this service as we do have a waiting list most of the time.
