The Pancevski Duo is an innovative husband-and-wife clarinet and cello ensemble. Its members, Jennifer Moss and Peter Phelan, are both professional musicians and music educators based in Glasgow. In fact, the duo once started as a trio in 2015, at the Cincinnati College-Conservatory of Music in the U.S.A., and is somewhat playfully named after its former pianist, who is affectionately missed. The duo holds Master of Music degrees from leading U.K. conservatoires; Peter is an alumnus of the Royal Northern College of Music, and Jennifer is a graduate of the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama. They are both current fellows for the Nevis Ensemble. With its music-making, the Pancevski Duo seeks to give a fresh spin to established repertoire as well as discovering and creating exciting repertoire for this unconventional and versatile combination of instruments.

Jennifer and Peter were a perfect addition to our wedding ceremony. They have a great range of musical choices and were super flexible if we had any specific requests. All the conversation beforehand was great and they inspired a lot of confidence from their experience performing at weddings. On the day there were zero issues, they looked wonderful, and played beautifully. My wedding day passed in a bit of a blur but I do remember how wonderful they sounded as I walked down the aisle so thank you so so much for being part of our day! I can't recommend you enough!

10/10 I organised a last minute surprise mini zoom concert and invited friends to celebrate my partner’s birthday with the Pancevski Duo. It was a perfect lockdown treat – such a lovely way to be together right now. The clarinet and cello are a great combination. Jennifer and Peter they have a lovely way of engaging with one another and their audience. They selected a great combination of classical, jazz and popular pieces and were both willing to suggest things and open to suggestions. We had a 15 minute concert with four pieces - for 25 people for the price of a couple of concert tickets, a great deal!

Do you have different line-up options?

It may be possible for us to appear as a clarinet trio (clarinet, cello, piano).

What if my timings change after I've booked you?

We will always do our very best to work with you to plan for your event. If timings change, just get in touch!

Can you provide an iPod/DJ service before and between your sets?

Yes, if you would like a DJ service via our PA, we can provide this service for an additional £100.

How much time do you need to set up?

We usually like to arrive an hour before playing.

Can I pick the songs you play from the set list?

Yes, we may have more songs/pieces than detailed on our set list, so please do discuss what you would like to hear with us. We offer one free arrangement with every booking.

Can you learn song requests before the event?

We are happy to offer one song request for free with every event. We are happy to discuss a quote in the eventuality that you would like to request more songs that are not on our current list.
