Philip played with Welsh National Opera Orchestra for 30 years, until recently deciding to go freelance and mix it up a bit! He plays with various other orchestras, duos, trios, string quartets, our ceilidh band, care homes, benefit concerts etc. and travels around the UK on a weekly basis! Having started cello as a treat for having seven teeth out (ouch!), Sharon went on to study with David Smith (Alberni String Quartet), A post grad at National Centre for Orchestral Studies led to a freelance career in symphony orchestras and chamber music. She loves film music and is still waiting to be discovered by Hollywood! Anita is a multiple prize-winning pianist, MD of a choir, MD of a musical theatre company, a solo background pianist and a chamber musician with years of experience travelling the UK and Europe with her piano trio. As a singer she accompanies singers too, and also performs at weddings and functions as a singing pianist. She has appeared on Eastenders, High Road, The High Life, Rikki Fulton etc, and been the body double for a very famous Hollywood actress! She also performed some dodgy stunts with sugar glass and appeared on Pebblemill at one :-)

THe trio performed this afternoon for the 10th anniversary of our business opening. They were very professional, arrived early and played for three hours. We enjoyed all the film and TV themes as well as the more classical tunes. Thanks for travelling out here to play for us!

Customer questions

Do you have different line-up options?

Yes, we are a collective, so violin/piano, singing/piano, piano, violin and cello, string quartet, string trio, piano quintet etc

What if my timings change after I've booked you?

Of course! Let us know as soon as you can, we'd prefer to know as soon as possible as we all live in different areas so no problem as long as you let us know in advance. We all play a number of gigs per week, so it is just a matter of planning and travel times.

Can you provide an iPod/DJ service before and between your sets?

Yes, we usually do

How much time do you need to set up?

30 minutes to set up, let us know where plug sockets, acoustic pianos etc are. We bring an electric piano otherwise.

Can you roam around while you perform?

Not easily!

Can I pick the songs you play from the set list?

Of course you can, and if you have any requests, just let us know.

Is all of the equipment (e.g. PA & lighting) included in your quote?

Yes, as above.

Can you learn song requests before the event?

Yes we can or arrange something we dont have trio/quartet music for.
