Combo dinner/dance10 musicians1 hour 30 minutes
A basic band line up comprising 12 band members, suitable for more intimate cocktail parties/receptions or where band size is limited by available room.

Corporate Event10 musicians1 hour 30 minutes
This type of event usually caters for dinner dances or corporate events and will involve a full band line up. The repertoire will include a substantial amount of dance floor fillers-pop, ballroom, Latin. It gives our dance instructors an opportunity to shine.

Theme nights10 musicians1 hour 30 minutes
This package involves a full band of 18 members and is specific for themed nights such as rat pack nights, movie theme nights, 007 James Bond themed nights. It is most suited to a listening audience such as casino nights or similar.

Wedding ceremony10 musicians2 hours
This includes music before the service begins, music during the signing of the register, and music as guests leave. The price reflects the arrival time on site, often the band is required to arrive on site early afternoon before the ceremony and remain throughout the day and evening to also provide evening entertainment in addition to the ceremony. A evening event only would be less costly.

What do your clients love most about your performances?
The variety of songs which comes from a very large repertoire of over 400 songs. Plus being able to offer themed evenings such as movie theme nights, rat pack and swing nights, 007 James Bond theme nights. We are also lucky in having several vocalists male and female who perform with us on a rota basis adding more to the variety.
Which venues have you performed at in the past?
Masonic lodges. Air shows. Hotels. Social clubs, Wedding venues.
Which artists have you been most influenced by?
Shirley Bassie, Frank Sinatra, count Basie, Glenn Miller, duke Ellington, Harry James. Michael Buble’. All major artists involved with the big band scene over the past 100 years.
What is the most high profile gig you've performed?
Derby City Lord Mayors dinner/dance. However all bookings are treated equally and professionally.
Do you have different line-up options?
We have 2 basic line up options from a 12 piece band up an 18 piece, customer requirements and budget will determine this. The line up for a 12 piece will be 4 saxes, 2 trumpets 2 trombones, drums, piano and bass plus a vocalist. An 18 piece will be a full big band comprising of 5 saxes, 4 trumpets, 4 trombones, drums, piano, drums, guitar plus a vocalist.
What if my timings change after I've booked you?
We are used to last minute changes which invariably happen, we try to be flexible and will always try to accommodate the customer.
Can you provide an iPod/DJ service before and between your sets?
Although we don’t offer a DJ service we can provide background music between band sets.
How much time do you need to set up?
If there is easy access 1-1.5 hours. 2 hours where there are stairs or difficult access.
Can you roam around while you perform?
Unfortunately no for the musicians although the vocalists have more freedom as they use radio microphones.
Can I pick the songs you play from the set list?
Yes of course in fact this is encouraged.
Is all of the equipment (e.g. PA & lighting) included in your quote?
Yes it is.
Can you learn song requests before the event?
We would review this on a case by case basis depending on available rehearsal time and being able to obtain written sheet music in good time before the event.
