Absolutely brilliant! Communication was great from start to finish, and they turned up on the day with plenty of time to spare to ensure they were set up and ready to start when we asked. We asked if we could send a Spotify playlist over to be played during the mid-set break, which they were very happy to do so via their laptop and speaker. We were struggling to find a speaker for our music when the band finished, and Noel offered to rent me his personal speaker for the rest of the night. Set list was perfect, they really know how to judge a crowd. Blink 182, Green Day, Oasis etc were spot on for our lot! The only minor criticism was that we were expecting the band to play our first dance, but it was played on the laptop instead. That aside, it was perfect. Thanks so much for being part of our big day, you guys were amazing. Would 100% recommend to anyone! James and Elkie Brister x

We booked The Noel Fraser band for our wedding at Hoghton Tower on 4th May 2019. From the start we said all along we wanted everyone to be up dancing all night - and that’s exactly what happened! The dance floor was completely full all night and we received so many comments on how brilliant the band were! Thank you so much Noel, it was all absolutely perfect. Noel also managed the ceremony music during the day and sang acoustic for us during the wedding breakfast. The whole day was completely seamless and the acoustic set was lovely :-) If you’re looking for a band for your wedding - 100% book the Noel Fraser Band! We guarantee you won't regret it!

Customer questions

Will the singer be the same as who I see in the videos?

Yes - many bands nowadays are operating as brands and sending multiple bands out under the same name which can be misleading to clients. We are a 3 piece band that has had the same line up for over 5 years and you will always get the same musicians unless a dep musician is employed to cover sickness or holidays. The singer will always be the same.

Do you have different line-up options?

Our options range from Solo acoustic, 3 Piece band and also 4 piece band.

What if my timings change after I've booked you?

Once you've booked us you've secured the day in our calendar so timing changes are not a problem

Can you provide an iPod/DJ service before and between your sets?

We can provide a DJ service for the whole evening and are happy for clients to provide us with a Spotify playlist of their choice. We use DJ software that connects to Spotify and doesn't just use Spotify - this means that the tracks will fade into each other without gaps between songs.

How much time do you need to set up?

We need 1 hour to set up. This starts when we have a completely clear space in which to set up and includes a period for soundcheck. We prefer that there are no guests in the room whilst we set up for a couple of reasons, firstly we need to set up without interruption to ensure things run on time and also we like to maintain some element of anticipation.

Can I pick the songs you play from the set list?

You can pick the songs from our setlist but we reserve the right to make changes. We've been doing it for 10 years and part of what makes us so good is our ability to choose songs that will make the evening awesome.

Is all of the equipment (e.g. PA & lighting) included in your quote?

Our quote includes a full state of the art sound and light system. We also carry a backup PA for emergencies - not many bands can say that.

Can you learn song requests before the event?

We include 1 song request in our quote and can learn other songs for a fee. We respectfully caveat this by saying we are a 3 piece band of males so any request needs to be within our capabilities to sound good.

What do your clients love most about your performances?

We are professional and great to deal with and we keep the dance floor full all night. They also love the variety in our set - not many bands can do traditional Irish songs one minute and then rock out with Nirvana and Blink 182 the next. Our party piece is Bomboleo by the Gypsy Kings.

Which venues have you performed at in the past?

Too many to list - in the last 10 years we've played in hundreds of wedding venues around the country - from stately homes to Yurts. We even played at Birkenhead Ferry terminal once.

Which artists have you been most influenced by?

Too many to list - from Rock to country and everything in between.

What is the most high profile gig you've performed?

I once played in a house band with Don Felder (The Eagles) Rick Wakeman (Yes) and John Miles.
