Customer questions
What do your clients love most about your performances?
Our clients love the fun and nostalgia we bring to our performances. We take our music seriously, but we have a good sense of humour and bring bags of fun to our event, leaving the crowd dancing and cheering for more.
Which venues have you performed at in the past?
We've headlined the Wanstead Festival, played the Soho Fete, Walthamstow Trades Hall, 100 Barrington in Brixton, a school's 100th anniversary ball, plus many others.
Which artists have you been most influenced by?
Being an 80s band, we obviously love the music of the 80s. With so much to choose from that great era, we have to be selective, therefore we tend to select pop tracks that you can dance to, so bands like Duran Duran, Spandau Ballet, Bananarama, Blondie etc. A full list of our set and artists that we cover is available on our profile.
What is the most high profile gig you've performed?
Headling the Wanstead Festival was pretty special. Equally, being invited to play in Soho for their summer fete was another highlight. Both events had large crowds that had a whale of time singing along and dancing.
Do you have different line-up options?
Our line-up is as follows: Male + Female vocals, Guitar, Bass, Keys, Sax, Drums.
What if my timings change after I've booked you?
We always try our best to be flexible to help ensure your event runs as smoothly as possible. If timings change slightly in the run up to the event just let us know.
Can you provide an iPod/DJ service before and between your sets?
Absolutely, we've done this at several events and a playlist is a good way to warm-up an audience before the band come on, plus keep them warmed-up during any interval. We've also played a playlist after the band has finished at a few events.
How much time do you need to set up?
We usually take between 1 and 1.5 hours to set-up before the performance time. As soon as our PA is set-up (should that be required for the event), we can provide a free playlist service to get the audience warmed-up. Typically, it's good to set-up a few hours before the event ideally, but we're flexible.
Can you roam around while you perform?
Yes - absolutely - the vocalists and guitarists use wireless mics and guitar connections so are not limited to being in one place but can wander as freely as the event allows or requires.
Can I pick the songs you play from the set list?
Our set lists are crafted from countless performances and learning what works best to ensure guests dance and have an amazing time. However, we're definitely happy to chat through and make sure we find what works for your event.
Is all of the equipment (e.g. PA & lighting) included in your quote?
All our musical equipment and PA is included in our quote, though some venues will have their own PA that they may wish to use or which may be more appropriate for that venue.
Can you learn song requests before the event?
We have an extensive song list, but if there's a particular song that you want to hear played at your event, by all means let us know beforehand and we'll see if we can accommodate this requirement.
