The New Originals were formed with the intent of standing out from your everyday covers band by providing a unique set list of reimagined bangers from a range of eras; from the swinging 60s to the more current 00s & from Dusty Springfield to the Prodigy. We wanted to play songs that people of all backgrounds and ages can cut loose and have a boogie to! Having The New Originals as our wedding band was the best decision we could have made. They are a talented bunch of people who gave us just what we needed to get people on the dance floor. They played a great range of songs and allowed us to give some requests in advance which they learned to perfection. Would highly recommend!

The New Originals were the absolute highlight of our wedding day. From the moment they arrived, their professionalism and energy were unmatched. This wasn’t your typical wedding band — their music selection was fresh, exciting, and perfectly tailored to the atmosphere we wanted to create. Every member of the band was incredibly talented, and together they performed like a well-oiled machine: tight, dynamic, and effortlessly in sync. Guests were blown away by their performance — we had so many people comment that they were the best live band they’d ever seen at a wedding. What do your clients love most about your performances?

All of our repeat bookings have always been based on our energetic & fun live performances and fresh takes on classic songs

Which venues have you performed at in the past?

We have performed at a number of wedding venues across the midlands, as well as private parties and public performances for local events in Nottinghamshire

Will the singer be the same as who I see in the videos?

Yep! Our fantastic singer Eve will be at every show. As you can hear, she's pretty hard to beat!

Do you have different line-up options?

Currently we do not have an extensive line-up outside of the four core members of The New Originals. However, in the event that one of us is not available for a booking, and your booking is far enough in advance for us to plan ahead, we will easily be able to acquire somebody to stand-in (with the exception of our singer, Eve)

What if my timings change after I've booked you?

Not a problem! We understand that things do not always run as planned. As long as there is ample communication, we are more than happy to be as flexible as we can be. However, we do ask that if the timings of our preferred arrival/set-up/performance time must change, that you let us know as soon as possible.

Can you provide an iPod/DJ service before and between your sets?

We are happy to play your preferred playlist before & between our sets. We offer this for free as a part of our package, but please note that we do not provide a DJ service after our final set. We also ask that you provide the playlist for the occasion, as we wouldn't want to play something you don't like!

How much time do you need to set up?

We typically aim to set up around 1-1.5 hours before our performance time. This gives us plenty of time to get everything up and running, test that everything is working as it should be and make sure we sound great for your special evening!

Can I pick the songs you play from the set list?

Our set lists are put together from countless performance and learning what works best to ensure guests have an awesome time. However, we're happy to have a chat and make sure we find what works for your event. Our set list is a bit of a mixed bag of treats, so there should be something for everyone

Is all of the equipment (e.g. PA & lighting) included in your quote?

We currently provide our full PA system, set up and sound engineering and our lighting system is coming soon!

Can you learn song requests before the event?

We're happy to provide 3x song requests of your choice in every 2 hour+ performance. However, we do need to be realistic... If you ask us to learn 3x Rush songs in 2 weeks, or something that's heavily synth-orientated that we do not think we can do justice, we'll always be transparent with our clients and offer you another choice as an alternative
